Hanoi (Ha Long Bay), Vietnam
Hanoi is gateway to Ha Long Bay and the Red River Delta. This region is scattered with more than 3,000 mountainous dolomite and limestone islands, each with its own unique landscape. At the western end of Ha Long Bay is Cat Ba Island, where Chinese and Vietnamese pirates settled during the late 19th century. In 1986, a large section of the island and adjacent waters were declared a national park to protect the island’s diverse ecosystems.

Hue / Da Nang (Chan May), Vietnam
Sitting on the southerly curve of a vast, well-protected bay, Vietnam’s third largest city, Da Nang, is the principal port in the central part of the country and still retains much of its French colonial ambiance. Visit the intriguing Cham Museum, filled with wonderful artifacts of the Cham culture centred here for a millennium and famed China Beach. Hue is undergoing a renaissance. Enjoy its temples, pagodas and imposing citadel protected by a moat. Browse the shops for locally woven cotton cloth, lacquer ware and charming silk paintings on note cards. Savour Vietnamese cuisine including bountiful lobster, shrimp, crab, and fish dishes as well as noodle dishes and soups.

Hue / Da Nang (Chan May), Vietnam
Take advantage of one of the included shore excursions and tour Chan May through the eyes of a local, seeing an authentic slice of life in the rural countryside. Pause for photos of the brackish Lap An Lagoon, watch residents of the nearby villages harvest plump oysters and clams from the lagoon, and mingle with locals through an interpreter in the fishing village of Lang Co.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh is Vietnam's largest and most well-known city. The city was nothing more than a trading post until the 18th century. After the Vietnam War, the new communist regime changed the official name of the city of Saigon to Ho Chi Minh and began to rebuild its economic and social structure.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Enjoy an included shore excursion to explore Ho Chi Minh City today. On ‘Panoramic Saigon’, depart the pier for a guided drive through Ho Chi Minh City. Witness grand old buildings such as the wedding cake-styled Hotel d'Ville and the historic Rex Hotel, towering over the colourful markets below, and watch as an endless stream of bicycles, mopeds, and motorbikes weave fearlessly through traffic. See the Presidential Palace, now known as Reunification Hall, which has been converted into a public museum, City Hall, the colonial-styled City Theatre, and the former American Embassy and British Council. Next, drive past the Ben Thanh Central Market, and continue to Chinatown or Cho Lon. The bustling Cho Lon Market features numerous street stalls amidst hundreds of hidden temples, shrines, and pagodas. Returning to the pier, pass by the city's largest industrial park where more than 50,000 workers produce goods for export.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia
Think beaches and snorkelling, as Sihanoukville sits on the beautiful island-studded Bay of Thailand. Wats, or Buddhist temples, are abundant and often modest architecturally, as seen at Wat Otres behind Otres Beach. Today you can explore Sihanoukville on an included in-depth tour, gaining an insight into the charms and challenges of daily life in a rural village. Wander through a temple and observe how the monks and nuns live.

Bangkok (Laem Chabang), Thailand
Bangkok is the largest city in and capital of Thailand, beginning life as a humble trading port. Today you can take an included shore excursion to explore the Ancient City, a museum park delving into the history of Thailand with replicas of some of the country’s most architecturally and historically important buildings. Also known as Ancient Siam, the park sprawls over hundreds of acres full of temples, stupas and entire villages that represent different regions of Thailand. Traditional houses that were saved from destruction in other parts of Thailand are reconstructed here for preservation.

Enjoy another full day exploring Bangkok, perhaps heading out on an included shore excursion to the Pattaya Floating Markets to browse the incredible array of merchandise available. Get a genuine feel for river life while exploring the markets as you barter with vendors in small wooden boats, selling everything from fruit and vegetables to silverware, handmade bags, and silk clothing. The atmosphere could not be more inviting.

Koh Samui is Thailand's third largest island. Surrounded by eighty smaller islands, this stunning, natural beauty has been relatively undiscovered until recent years. After disembarking the ship, meet your guide at the pier for an introductory tour to Singapore. Begin with an exploration of Waterloo Street, including the Kwan Imm Thong Hood Cho Temple, Maghain Aboth Synagogue, Sculpture Square, and Sri Krishnan Temple. Next take a walk along Albert Street which was originally lined with two-story shop houses, and was famous for its Chinese restaurants, bars, medicine shops and food stalls. Continue with a visit to Chinatown where you will walk through its alleyways and visit the Chinatown Heritage Centre. Housed within 3 traditional shop houses, each level of the Heritage Centre takes you to a different period in the history of Chinatown and allows you to trace the lives of its early occupants. Dine at a local Chinese seafood restaurant and after lunch, board a colourful riverboat and enjoy a 30-minute ride down the Singapore River. Later finish with a visit to Arab Street, the old centre of the Malay community, but today abundant with glittery and lavish fashion items that include the finest lace, sparkling semi-precious stones, ostrich feathers, iron-on diamantes, gold thread and wholesale bales of silk and organza. Return to the hotel to enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure.

After breakfast, meet a guide for a tour to ‘Gardens by the Bay’. Comprising two glass biomes, the Conservatories replicate the cool-dry climate of the Mediterranean and semi-arid sub-tropical regions and the cool-moist climate of the Tropical Montane region. They house a diverse collection of plants that are not commonly seen in this part of the world and are of high conservation value. Visit ‘Cloud Forest’, a mysterious world veiled in mist. A 35-metre-tall mountain covered in lush vegetation, it shrouds the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, and showcases plant life from tropical highlands up to 2,000-meters above sea level. For a small fee, stroll along the Skyway and take in a view of the gardens from above. Next, visit the SkyPark Observation Deck atop of the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel. At 57-stories above ground, you will have a bird’s eye view of the stunning Marina Bay, Singapore’s cityscape, and the Supertree Grove. After the tour, return to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, transfer to the China Club, a very elegant members-only club perched at the top of the Capitol Tower offering panoramic views of the port and the city. Enjoy a blended menu of traditional Chinese and Western fare in this exclusive setting.
