Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrive Amsterdam, Embark Ship Welcome to Amsterdam. We’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to the ultra-luxurious Seabourn Venture. Settle into your cabin, relax and get acquainted with your ship. Tonight, meet your crew and fellow travellers during your first meal on board, enjoying a taste of the freshly prepared cuisine you’ll savour throughout the journey. Day 2 – Day at Sea Unwind on board during a full day at sea, enjoying an array of onboard activities and world-class dining. Attend an informative lecture at the Discovery Centre, admire expansive views from the Constellation Lounge, or indulge in a relaxing spa treatment. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3 – Stavanger Arrive in Stavanger, located in southwest Norway and known as the country’s dynamic oil capital. Here, pristine white-sand beaches meet dramatic fjords and soaring mountains. Choose from a selection of experiences to shape your day. Freedom of Choice – Pulpit Rock Hike: Travel by coach to Preikestolen, the starting point of the iconic Pulpit Rock hike. The natural plateau rises 604 metres above Lysefjord, offering panoramic views across the fjord’s 42-kilometre expanse. Freedom of Choice – Stavanger: From Oil to Oil: Discover Stavanger’s transformation from a fishing town to Norway’s oil capital. Visit a preserved canning factory, enjoy a guided tour of the Norwegian Petroleum Museum, and stroll through the charming streets of Old Stavanger. Day 4 – Balestrand, Flåm Arrive in the picturesque fjord town of Balestrand. From here, embark on a fjord cruise to Finnabotn, a hidden gem within the narrowest part of Sognefjord. Glide past dramatic scenery, including the entrance to Arnafjord, one of the most photogenic branches of the fjord. As you approach Finnabotn, the fjord narrows, accessible only by small vessels. Surrounded by towering mountains and pristine wilderness, witness waterfalls cascading from sheer cliffs into tranquil waters, creating an unforgettable glimpse of Norway’s unspoiled fjord landscapes. Day 5 – Flåm Experience the spectacular landscapes of Flåm today, beginning with a Signature Experience on the legendary Flåm Railway. Signature Experience – Flåm Railway: Travel one of the world’s most breathtaking train journeys, covering 20 kilometres from the fjord village of Flåm to the mountain station at Myrdal. Along the way, admire alpine valleys, steep cliffs and dramatic waterfalls, including the thunderous Kjosfossen. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6 – Rosendal Travel to Rosendal, a charming village set in the heart of the Hardangerfjord region. Choose from a range of sightseeing experiences. Freedom of Choice – Bondhus Lake and Glacier Walk: Journey to the Bondhus Valley for an easy walk to Bondhus Lake, surrounded by forests, streams and views of the Bondhusbreen Glacier descending from the Folgefonna icecap. Day 8 – Oslo Arrive in Norway’s vibrant capital, Oslo, where art, culture and history combine with spectacular scenery. Day 9 – Lysekil Arrive in Lysekil, your only Swedish port on this journey, known for its rugged granite coastline and maritime charm. Choose from a Freedom of Choice experience. Freedom of Choice – Fiskebäckskil by Fjord and Foot: Take a ferry to the island of Skaftö and explore the charming village of Fiskebäckskil, with its colourful wooden houses and historic church, before returning to your ship.
