Diverse and multi-sensory experiences await on this cruise around some of the pearls of Melanesia before heading to New Zealand. Leaving Fijian shores, we spend the day sailing to the white-sand shores of volcanic Vanuatu, calling at Mystery Island and the capital, Port Vila, where our warm welcome will include a traditional water music ceremony. Onwards we go to Lifou, a haven for birds including the red-bellied fruit dove, before spending a day sailing to Norfolk Island, a tiny Australian territory almost halfway between New Caledonia and New Zealand. After another day at sea, we’ll explore the stunning Bay of Islands before disembarking in Auckland.

Bali to Hong Kong

Casting off from Bali, we start with a day at sea, heading north along the Makassar Strait to Sandakan. It's the gateway to picture-perfect beaches, turquoise seas, and a must-visit – the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Puerto Princesa in Palawan is the best place to start hopping around the Philippine’s emerald islands, as we make our way to the white sands of Boracay. Then we spend two days in buzzing Manila, Southeast Asia’s second-largest city. Get plenty of rest during the following day crossing the South China Sea because our last stop is Hong Kong, where you will stay overnight. That allows plenty of time to shop ‘til you drop, marvel at the futuristic skyline from the Pearl River, and get pleasantly lost among the city’s labyrinthine markets.

A day at sea heading west brings us first to Valletta, Malta’s capital, then Tripani in Sicily. Discover how the strategic location of both these enchanting cities has turned them into fascinating cultural crossroads. Cagliari introduces us to another Italian island, Sardinia, with a mix of medieval mystery and gorgeous beaches to explore. Onwards we go to our final destination, Civitavecchia, and the promise of some time in Rome.
