Itinerary
Day 1 | Kittilä - Muonio
Arrive at Kittilä airport and transfer to your Eco Resort. Dinner is served in the hotel restaurant.

Day 2 | Muonio
Visit the reindeer farm where the reindeer herder will take you for a short ride on a reindeer sled. Enter the traditional guest house and museum, where you can catch a rare glimpse into what life was like this far North before roads and motorised vehicles. Lunch will be served in a traditional Lappish kota around a fire.
In the evening, delve into the fascinating phenomenon of the Northern Lights, exploring both the science and myths behind it. Afterwards, head to a prime Northern Lights viewing spot where you can build a campfire, while waiting for the lights to hopefully make an appearance.

Day 3 | Muonio
Meet the lovely huskies who will take you on a 15km safari over the swamps and lakes.
Try out Nordic skiing, one of Finns’ favourite sports. After dinner you can head to your own Aurora dome for a cosy night with wood burning stove, panoramic view of the lake and with a little luck some northern lights.

Day 4 | Muonio
Enjoy a relaxing morning having breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon you will join the guide for some tastes of Finland.
Get an inside into Finnish food culture and special local tastes.
Dinner will be served in the restaurant and after that you will enjoy a ride on the Aurora snow train while watching for those exclusive Northern Lights.

Day 5 | Muonio
After breakfast it is snowmobile time. Head out on this 40 km safari to the Harriniva husky farm.

Day 6 | Muonio
Join the minibus to Pallas, the largest fell area in Western Lapland, known for its breath-taking beauty. Visit the nature centre to learn more about the area before taking a snowshoe walk to enjoy the surroundings.
Head to Jeris to enjoy a hearty lunch and some well-earned relaxation in our Arctic Sauna World at the shore of the lake Jeris. Dip in the icy lake and warm up in the most traditional sauna of all, the smoke sauna.

Day 7 | Muonio
Today is the day when you can do absolutely nothing or ask your guide for more activities. You may already be surprised at how much there is to do out in the middle of nowhere.

After breakfast is time to say goodbye and transfer to Kittilä airport.
