Itinerary
Day 1 – Ho Chi Minh City Welcome to Vietnam. On arrival at Ho Chi Minh City Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. The rest of the day is at leisure until a welcome meeting at 5pm. Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City
Day 2 – Mekong Delta Travel to the lush Mekong Delta and cruise through the maze of waterways on a traditional sampan. Visit local villages and enjoy lunch in a traditional home on Dong Hoa Hiep Island before returning to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight: Ho Chi Minh City
Day 3 – Ho Chi Minh City → Hoi An Explore Ho Chi Minh City including the War Remnants Museum before discovering lesser-visited neighbourhoods, historic cafés and vibrant street markets. Later transfer to the airport and fly to Da Nang, followed by a short drive to the charming town of Hoi An. Overnight: Hoi An Meals: Breakfast
Day 4 – Tra Que Village & Hoi An Cycle through the countryside to Tra Que Village where you’ll learn traditional farming practices and take part in a hands-on cooking experience. Afterwards enjoy a guided walking tour of Hoi An’s historic centre including the Japanese Covered Bridge, merchant houses and Chinese Assembly Hall. Overnight: Hoi An Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Day 5 – Hoi An Free Day Enjoy a full day at leisure in enchanting Hoi An. Relax by the pool, explore the lantern-lined streets, browse craft shops and boutiques or visit local tailors for bespoke clothing. Overnight: Hoi An Meals: Breakfast
Day 6 – Hoi An → Halong Bay Fly from Da Nang to Hanoi before travelling to Halong Bay. Board a deluxe junk boat for an overnight cruise through the spectacular limestone karsts. Visit Cat Ba Island and Viet Hai village before enjoying sunset views over the bay. Overnight: Halong Bay Cruise Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 7 – Halong Bay → Hanoi Start the morning with Tai Chi on deck before continuing to explore Halong Bay. Enjoy brunch on board before disembarking and travelling to Hanoi. In the afternoon stroll through the famous Old Quarter. Overnight: Hanoi Meals: Breakfast
Day 8 – Hanoi City Tour Discover Hanoi’s highlights including Hoa Lo Prison (Hanoi Hilton), the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh’s House and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda and enjoy views over West Lake before returning to your hotel. Overnight: Hanoi Meals: Breakfast
Day 9 – Hanoi Your tour comes to an end today with an included transfer to Hanoi Airport for your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
