Day 1Vancouver
Spend the day exploring Vancouver, a city that blends a stunning setting of coastline, mountains and rainforests.
As a fantastic introduction to the adventure ahead, visit Canada Place to experience FlyOver Canada, where you’ll be immersed in a multi-sensory journey over some of Canada’s most spectacular scenery.
Depending on your arrival time, consider adding optional experiences to your itinerary today. A small-group excursion to explore Vancouver’s scenic North Shore takes you to views of the iconic Lions Gate Bridge, Capilano Suspension Bridge and treetop walks, and a scenic Grouse Mountain gondola ride.
Tonight, settle in at the Fairmont Waterfront. This hotel offers stunning views of Vancouver Harbour. If time and weather permits, take a tour of the rooftop garden which acts as a summer home for thousands of honeybees.
Day 2Vancouver
In the 1970’s, Granville Island began its successful transformation from an industrial wasteland to one of the most beloved public spaces in Vancouver. Now a vibrant cultural and culinary hub, it is a fantastic example of urban renewal and environmental sustainability.
Chefs and foodies flock to the Granville Island Public Market for quality produce, bakeries, butcheries, cheese shops, and local delights.

Day 3Vancouver
Stanley Park is truly one of the most beautiful parks in the world, situated with scenic views of downtown Vancouver, the North Shore, The Lion’s Gate Bridge, as well as English Bay and the Westside.
This morning, join a bike tour of the park that includes a perfect mixture of both trail riding and seawall cruising. Highlights include in-depth information about the biodiversity of the temperate rainforest, the history of the coastal first nations and their legendary totem poles, as well as an abundance of hidden treasures and stories that the park has accumulated over its 125 year history.
Day 4Vancouver - Kamloops
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the Rocky Mountaineer railway station. Board this world-renowned train for a luxurious journey from Vancouver to Kamloops through the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Relax in spacious, glass-domed carriages while enjoying gourmet cuisine and attentive service as you take in the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon, the dramatic rock sheds, and the steep, rugged slopes along the winding Thompson River. Day 5 Kamloops – Jasper
Your Rocky Mountaineer train journey continues into Alberta and the Canadian Rockies. Once again you will be surrounded by dramatic scenery as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide, before arriving in Jasper.
You will be transferred from the railway station to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, a stunning location within Jasper National Park, the world’s largest accessible dark sky reserve and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 6Jasper
Today is designed to showcase the best of Jasper’s great outdoors and natural beauty.
This morning, embark on a guided 4 km hike to a breathtaking peak, where a hot lunch awaits amid panoramic views. Along the way, learn about the wildfire’s impact on the landscape and witness new forest growth emerging from the ash, while exploring the area’s history, geology, and forestry, and spotting local wildlife.
Later this afternoon, set out on a small-group wildlife viewing excursion to discover the diverse fauna of Jasper National Park. Keep an eye out for elk, deer, moose, bears, and mountain goats, among the many animals that call this remarkable park home. Meals: Lunch
Day 7Jasper - Lake Louise
Travel along the Icefields Parkway, one of North America’s most scenic highways. Experience the Columbia Icefield with an Ice Explorer tour and take in the stunning views from the Glacier Skywalk.
Continue along the Parkway with stops at Bow and Peyto Lakes, Crowfoot Glacier, and Athabasca Falls. Keep your camera ready, this route offers opportunities to see wildlife such as bears, elk, moose, and mountain sheep.
Tonight, enjoy your stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, beautifully situated on the shores of the lake, where everyone can take in the breathtaking mountain and water views. Meals: Lunch
Day 8 Lake Louise - Banff
Depart Lake Louise this morning for a journey filled with awe-inspiring scenery. Take in Moraine Lake and the Valley of the Ten Peaks, one of the most iconic vistas in the Canadian Rockies. Explore Yoho National Park, marvel at Takakkaw Falls, and enjoy a delicious lunch at Emerald Lake before arriving in Banff.

Day 9 Banff
Connect with this UNESCO World Heritage site as you explore Banff’s landmarks, learn about its rich history, and observe wildlife in their natural habitat.
Today’s locally guided small-group tour highlights some of Banff’s most scenic and historically significant sites, including Bow Falls, Surprise Corner Lookout, Hoodoos Viewpoint, and Lake Minnewanka. This tour offers a comprehensive orientation to Banff and excellent morning wildlife viewing opportunities.
Later, take the Banff Gondola for a breathtaking ascent to the summit of Sulphur Mountain, where panoramic vistas reveal the sheer majesty of the surrounding Rockies.
Day 10 Banff - Calgary Depending on your departure details, you may have some time explore Banff at leisure this morning.
Afterward, transfer along the Trans-Canada Highway through Canada’s “cattle ranching country” and its fertile breadbasket, before concluding your journey in Calgary.
