Day 1 — Arrive Hanoi
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport (HAN), you will be transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. The hotel will provide your welcome packet containing all the information you will need for your tour. Your adventure will begin tomorrow morning when you meet your tour director.
Settle in and get your first taste of Vietnam’s capital, a city where elegant French-colonial architecture sits alongside ancient pagodas and a vibrant street life that never sleeps. With the rest of the day at leisure, you have the freedom to explore on your own. For your free evening, you could dive into the city’s incredible food scene on an optional street food tour, sampling traditional dishes in the bustling Old Quarter. Alternatively, you could immerse yourself in a tradition dating back 1,000 years with tickets to a dazzling water puppet performance.

Day 2 — Hanoi
After breakfast, meet your tour director for a full-day exploration that delves into the heart of Vietnam’s history and culture. Your journey begins at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including the Mausoleum (except Mondays, Fridays and afternoons), Presidential Palace and Stilt House.
Continue to the Temple of Literature (Vietnam’s first university), the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and Hoan Kiem Lake. Cross the iconic red Huc Bridge to visit Ngoc Son Temple.
Tonight, enjoy a special welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 — Hanoi → Ha Long Bay
Transfer to Tuan Chau Marina and board the Capella Cruise for an unforgettable overnight journey through UNESCO-listed Ha Long Bay.
Enjoy lunch as limestone karsts rise dramatically from emerald waters. Spend the afternoon relaxing onboard with access to the pool, waterslide and sundeck. Watch sunset over the bay before dinner and an overnight stay in a quiet cove.
Begin the morning with tai chi on the sundeck before cruising through the Natural Preservation Zone. Return to Tuan Chau Marina and transfer to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Da Nang.
On arrival, transfer to your hotel in Hoi An for an evening at leisure.
