Itinerary

Day 1 – Singapore
Arrive in Singapore and meet your Local Guide. Transfer to your hotel and check in. The remainder of the day is at leisure before your welcome dinner and briefing.

Day 2 – Singapore
Discover the “Little Red Dot” beginning at the orchid gardens, followed by a walk through the Civic District including the former Supreme Court and City Hall. Continue to Orchard Road and enjoy a scenic bumboat ride along the river to Marina Bay. Visit Merlion Park before free time. This evening, explore Gardens by the Bay including the Cloud Forest, Flower Dome and Supertree Grove light show.

Day 3 – Singapore → Malacca
Travel by road across the border to Johor Bahru and continue through the Malay countryside to Malacca. Arrive late afternoon and check in. This evening, enjoy a relaxing canal cruise at sunset.

Day 4 – Malacca → Kuala Lumpur
Explore Malacca’s rich heritage including the Stadthuys, Old Town and the Street of Harmony where temples and mosques coexist. Visit a local museum before travelling through the countryside to Tampin Station. Board the ETS train to Kuala Lumpur. On arrival, enjoy a guided street food tour.

Day 5 – Kuala Lumpur
Travel by metro to Batu Caves, one of Malaysia’s most important Hindu sites, featuring a towering statue and colourful staircase. Return to the city to explore highlights including Masjid Jamek, Independence Square, Sultan Abdul Samad Clock Tower and Central Market. Visit KL Tower for panoramic skyline views of the Petronas Twin Towers.

Day 6 – Kuala Lumpur → Cameron Highlands
Board a morning train to Tapah Road before continuing by road into the lush Cameron Highlands. Stop at Lata Iskandar Waterfall and visit an Orang Asli village to learn about local indigenous culture. Arrive at your hotel surrounded by tea plantations and cool mountain air.

Day 7 – Cameron Highlands → Penang
Take a guided walk through the Mossy Forest, home to unique flora including ferns and pitcher plants. Visit a tea plantation before descending through the valley to Ipoh, stopping at Mirror Lake. Board the train to Penang, crossing Bukit Merah Lake, and transfer to George Town.

Day 8 – Penang
Explore UNESCO-listed George Town, admiring heritage architecture, temples and the Peranakan Mansion. Ride the Penang Hill funicular for sweeping views, then visit The Habitat rainforest reserve and canopy walk to spot local wildlife.

Day 9 – Penang → Phuket
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Phuket. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time before dinner.

Day 10 – Phang Nga Bay
Cruise through the dramatic limestone karsts of Phang Nga Bay by speedboat. Canoe through caves at Panak Island and visit the iconic James Bond Island, featured in The Man with the Golden Gun.

Day 11 – Phuket
Visit an ethical elephant sanctuary to observe and feed rescued elephants in their natural environment. Later, enjoy a guided street food tour sampling Thai favourites such as Pad Thai, satay and mango sticky rice, finishing at a lively night market.

Day 12 – Phuket → Surat Thani
Travel to Bang Rong village for an immersive cultural experience including batik painting, rubber tapping and coconut harvesting. Participate in a cooking class using fresh local ingredients, then enjoy a mangrove cruise by long-tail boat. Continue overland to Surat Thani.

Day 13 – Surat Thani → Hua Hin
Transfer to the station and board a scenic train journey to Hua Hin, with lunch provided onboard. Afternoon at leisure in this coastal retreat.

Day 14 – Hua Hin → Bangkok
Enjoy a relaxed morning before transferring to Petchaburi Station. Board the train to Bangkok and transfer to your hotel on arrival.

Journey to Kanchanaburi to learn about WWII history. Visit the Thai-Burma Railway Museum and Allied War Cemetery, explore Hellfire Pass and ride a section of the historic Death Railway. See the famous Bridge on the River Kwai before returning to Bangkok.

Day 16 – Bangkok
Explore Bangkok’s highlights including the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha. Visit Wat Pho, home to the reclining Buddha, and explore the city’s canal network. Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Days 17–18 – Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Time at leisure prior to departure.
