Day 2: Seoul-Gongju-Jeonju
Travel to Gongju and explore the Tomb of King Muryeong and Gongsanseong Fortress. Continue to Jeonju and wander through the traditional Hanok Village. (B)
Day 3: Jeonju-Suncheon-Yeosu
After breakfast you will continue to Gwangju, home of modern democracy in South Korea. Visit the Bay Garden in Suncheon*, then continue to the port city of Yeosu and explore before checking in to your hotel for the night. (B)
Day 4: Yeosu-Busan-Gyeongju
Explore Jinjuseong Fortress, famous for its link to the Japanese invasion. Travel to Busan and wander through the Fish Market and take a tour of the beach area. Continue to Gyeongju and enjoy time at your leisure. (B)
Day 5 Gyeongju-Andong-Wonju
Today you will explore Gyeongju, a museum without walls, and visit the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Seokguram Grotto*. Then transfer to Andong and wander the World Heritage Listed Folk Village. Continue to Wonju for the night. (B)
Day 6: Wonju-Pyeongchang-Mount Seorak-Seoul
Visit famous Pyeongchang, then wander through the UNESCO Biosphere Preservation District of Seoraksan National Park, home to rare flora and fauna. Take the cable car to Gwongeumseong Fortress*. Afterwards travel to Seoul and make your own way to the hotel. (B)
Day 7: Seoul
This morning you will immerse yourself in bustling Seoul on a half day city tour. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your leisure. (B)
Day 8: Seoul
After breakfast the day is free at your leisure until it is time to transfer to the airport for your flight to Tokyo. On arrival in Japan you will be transferred to your hotel for three nights. (B)
Day 9: Tokyo
The morning will be spent at Meiji Shrine, strolling along the walking paths amongst the greenery of Meiji Jingu Forest. Then travel to the beautiful Imperial East Garden, and Asakusa. Return to the hotel on your own for an afternoon free at your leisure. (B)
Day 10: Tokyo
Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Tokyo. You could also choose an optional visit to Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea*. Pack a small bag to take to Hakone tomorrow. You may wish to arrange transfers for your main luggage to Kyoto. (B)
Day 11: Tokyo-Mount Fuji-Hakone
Today you travel towards majestic Mount Fuji, visiting the 5th Station, Owakudani Boiling Valley, and Hakone Ropeway. Relax on a magnificent themed Lake Ashi cruise before transferring to your hotel in Hakone and checking in for the night.(B,L)
Day 12: Hakone-Kyoto-Nara-Kyoto
After Breakfast, take the bullet train to Kyoto (approx. 2.5 hours). On arrival, walk to your hotel to drop off your luggage. This afternoon meet your guide at Kyoto station and enjoy a Nara Walking Tour visiting Todaiji Temple, Nara Deer Park and Kofukuji Temple. Upon arrival at Kyoto station, walk back to your hotel. (B)
Day 13: Kyoto
After breakfast you will enjoy a full day tour of historical Kyoto, taking in the wondrous temples and sights. Visit vibrant Arashiyama, and the Sagano Bamboo Forest, and don’t forget majestic Kinkakuji Temple, also known as the Golden Temple. Enjoy a delicious local lunch. (B,L)
Day 14:
Enjoy a free day to explore Kyoto at your own pace. Why not explore the traditional tea houses in Gion and maybe even see a Geisha at work? (B)
Day 15: Kyoto-Depart Osaka
The morning is free at your leisure until it is time to take the shuttle from Kyoto to Osaka Airport in time for your onward flight. (B)
