Day 1 - Johannesburg Hotel: Southern Sun O.R. Tambo International Airport – Johannesburg Welcome to Johannesburg and the start of your African adventure. After collecting your luggage, make your way to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2 - Johannesburg to Kruger National Park Hotel: Maqueda Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Dinner This morning at 7am you will be met at the hotel by a local representative and transferred by road to your lodge. On arrival, meet a lodge representative, check in and receive a briefing on your safari program. Maqueda Lodge is a small, family-owned boutique lodge located close to Kruger National Park, where it’s common to hear lions at night and spot giraffe or zebra around the grounds. In the afternoon, meet your expert safari guide and head into Kruger National Park for your first game drive, searching for predators including lion, leopard and cheetah. Day 3 - Kruger National Park Hotel: Maqueda Lodge Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Enjoy a full-day game drive in Kruger National Park with an early start. Breakfast is served during the safari as you visit waterholes and explore the park with local experts, enjoying another remarkable day in one of South Africa’s premier wildlife reserves. Day 4 - Kruger National Park to Maun Hotel: Thamalakane River Lodge – Maun Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Transfer from your lodge to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to board your flight to Maun. On arrival, meet your local representative and transfer to your lodge on the banks of the Thamalakane River, near the Okavango Delta. The afternoon is at leisure. At 6pm, meet your fellow travellers and guide for a detailed tour briefing. Special Information: Travel time today is approximately 5 hours depending on flight connections. Flight is unescorted.
Day 5 - Maun to Okavango Delta Hotel: Guma Lagoon Camp – Ngamiland Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner After breakfast, travel to Etsha 13 on the western edge of the Okavango Delta, a unique inland delta flowing into the Kalahari Desert. After checking into your safari camp, enjoy dinner in preparation for the adventures ahead. Special Information: Travel time today is approximately 7.5 hours.
Day 6 - Okavango Delta Hotel: Guma Lagoon Camp – Ngamiland Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Explore the waterways of the Okavango Delta by traditional mokoro (dugout canoe), gliding through thick vegetation and spotting birdlife and wildlife. Day 7 - Okavango Delta to Moremi Game Reserve Hotel: Camelthorn Bush Camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner After breakfast, travel south via Maun to your camp in a private concession in the Greater Moremi area, renowned for its high concentration of wildlife. Game viewing varies seasonally, offering diverse sightings throughout the year. Special Information: Travel time today is approximately 7 hours.
Day 8 - Moremi Game Reserve Hotel: Camelthorn Bush Camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives in the Greater Moremi area, exploring by open 4WD vehicle. Day 10 - Moremi Game Reserve to Nata Hotel: Nata Lodge Meals: Breakfast Travel east toward the Makgadikgadi Pans, once a vast lake and now the largest salt pan system in the world. Day 11 - Nata to Chobe National Park Hotel: Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa Meals: Breakfast, Dinner Visit the Sowa Pan and Nata Bird Sanctuary for views across the Makgadikgadi Pans, then continue north to Kasane, gateway to Chobe National Park, home to one of Africa’s largest elephant populations. Day 14 - Hwange National Park Hotel: Robins Camp – Matabeleland Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Spend the day exploring Hwange National Park on game drives.
