CANBERRA EDUCATIONAL TOURS
The Australian Government recognizes the value of visiting Canberra as part of the civics and citizenship curriculum and actively promotes these educational experiences for students. To support school groups, financial assistance is available through the PACER (Parliament and Civics Education Rebate) program for students in Years 4 to 12 who travel to the nation’s capital.
Rebate amounts range from $20 to $260 per student, with the exact amount determined by the distance travelled from the school to Canberra. To be eligible, schools must include visits to four approved national institutions, one of which must be Parliament House, along with other key sites such as the Australian War Memorial. We can take care of everything — from assisting with itinerary planning to ensuring your tour meets all PACER eligibility requirements — so your school can focus on delivering a meaningful and enriching educational experience.
