Day 1:  Tuesday 03 November 2026

Depart Adelaide

Travel from Adelaide to Delhi via Singapore. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

Stay: Le Meridien New Delhi – 3 nights*

Day 2: Wednesday 04 November 2026

Delhi sightseeing

Set out this morning for a tour of some of the best sites in and around Delhi. First, visit the India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to Indian Army soldiers who died in World War I. Explore Humayun’s Tomb, the first in India to combine gardens into a mausoleum design which greatly influenced construction of the Taj Mahal. Travel Qutab Minar, a 73-metre-tall tower completed around 1220 AD, which is the tallest freestanding brick minaret in the world. Visit the Dilli Haat Market for some free shopping time. The market is a mixture of permanent shops, and rotating handicraft stalls showcasing goods from all corners of India. This evening enjoy a Welcome Dinner in a local restaurant. (B, D)

Day 3: Thursday 05 November 2026

Delhi sightseeing

Continue exploring Delhi at the Raj Ghat, a memorial dedicated on the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Visit the Red Fort, home of the Mughal emperors for generations. Continue to Jama Masjid in Old Delhi, one of the largest mosques in India before walking some of the laneways of Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. End the day with dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

Day 4: Friday 06 November 2026

Delhi to Agra

Stay: Courtyard by Marriott – 2 nights*

After breakfast drive from Delhi to Agra, stopping at a local restaurant for lunch. This afternoon visit Mehtab Bagh on the banks of the Yamuna River for a glimpse of the Taj Mahal. Later enjoy a Mohabbat the Taj performance at the Kalakriti cultural centre, detailing the love story between Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz, whose death inspired the creation of the Taj Mahal. After the show, return to the hotel for dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Saturday 07 November 2026

Agra

An early start this morning to see the sun rise over the Taj Mahal. Watch as the white marble reflects the changing colours and enjoy some free time to wander the grounds and visit the Taj Mahal up close. Return to the hotel for breakfast before travelling to Agra Fort, home of many Mughal rulers until the capital was moved from Agra to Delhi. Visit the Pietra Dura factory and see how precious jewels are inlaid into marble, a key technique in the intricate decorating of the Taj Mahal. Later visit the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, nicknamed the ‘Baby Taj’ and considered to be the template used in designing the Taj Mahal. This evening, enjoy a cooking demonstration followed by a visit to a local Indian family and try sari draping or turban tying and henna application. (B, D)

Day 6: Sunday 08 November 2026

Agra to Jaipur

Stay: Hilton Jaipur – 2 nights*

Travel from Agra to Jaipur today, visiting the Chand Baori stepwell on the way. Enjoy lunch in the local village before resuming the journey to Jaipur. On arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy some free time before dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 7: Monday 09 November 2026

Jaipur

Spend today exploring the Pink City of Jaipur on a sightseeing tour. First, stop to admire and take a picture of the façade of Hawa Mahal (The Palace of the Winds), before continuing to Amber Fort. Explore the fort on a guided tour with its many differently styled courtyards, temples and pavilions. Visit the nearby Anokhi Museum of Hand Printed, dedicated to preserving the traditional technique of block-printing. On the way back to Jaipur, stop for a photo of Jal Mahal, a palace situated in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, before arriving at the City Palace, once the administrative headquarters of Jaipur state, and still the home of the Jaipur royal family. Next, visit the fascinating Jantar Mantar, an assembly of stone built astronomical instruments built in the early 18th century at the behest of Rajah ai Singh II who had a keen interest in mathematics and astronomy. Finish the day with dinner at a local restaurant in Jaipur. (B, D)

Day 8: Tuesday 10 November 2026

Jaipur to Jodhpur

Stay: Indana Palace Hotel – 2 nights

Drive today from Jaipur to Jodhpur. On arrival in Jodhpur, visit the Mandore Gardens, once the royal cremation grounds for the rulers of the region. Next, visit the Sardar Market and Clock Tower. The tower is more than 200 years old and offers a 360 degree view of the surrounding city. Continue to the hotel and check in for a 2-night stay. (B, L, D)

Day 9: Wednesday 11 November 2026

Jodhpur

Begin exploring Jodhpur today with a visit to Mehrangarh Fort. The original construction took place in about 1460 and continued expanding with each successor. Within the fort’s walls lie several remarkable sites, renowned for their intricate carvings and spacious courtyards. Next, visit Jaswant Thada, a cenotaph constructed in 1899 by Maharaja Sardar Singh in memory of his late father. The cenotaph is constructed of thin sheets of marble that emit a warm glow in sunshine. Drive out to the Vintage Car Museum at Umaid Bhawan Palace. The collection has different models of Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, Austin Martin and more, including a Rolls Royce from the Bond film Octopussy, and a Cadillac used to transport Queen Elizabeth II. Drive to Bishnoi Village, where the local people offer a safe haven to the wildlife and make sure they have plenty of room. In return, the animals feel safe and wander the village freely, often grazing among the local  cattle and other domestic animals. Finish the day with dinner in a local restaurant in Jodhpur. (B, D)

Day 10: Thursday 12 November 2026

Jodhpur to Udaipur

Stay: Trident Udaipur – 2 nights*

Travel today from Jodhpur to Udaipur. En-route, visit the Ranakpur Jain Temple known for its intricate architecture and historical significance. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Bagore Ki Haveli on the outskirts of Udaipur. The palace has over a hundred rooms with intricate coloured glassworks and displays of costumes and modern art. On arrival to Udaipur, check into the hotel and enjoy dinner (B, L, D)

Day 11: Friday 13 November 2026

Udaipur

Begin the morning with a cruise on Lake Pichola and a visit to the City Palace, completed over a period of 400 years. Cruise across to Jag Mandir Palace, situated on an island of the same name in Lake Pichola. Later, continue to Saheliyon-ki-Bari or Courtyard of the Maidens, a major garden in the northern part of the city. Late this afternoon head to the hilltop palatial residence of Sajjangarh Palace for sunset views over the lakes and surrounding countryside, followed by dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

Day 12: Saturday 14 November 2026

Udaipur to Bundi

Stay: The Hadoti Palace – 1 night*

Travel today from Udaipur to Bundi. Check into the hotel and enjoy lunch. The afternoon is free to explore the old town and local market or relax at the hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 13: Sunday 15 November 2026

Bundi to Ranthambore

Stay: Bookmark Resorts, Jogi Mahal – 3 nights*

This morning, visit Taragarh Fort outside of Bundi, constructed in 1354 from a green-tinged stone quarried locally. En-route to Ranthambore, visit a local handicraft store set up to help local villagers displaced from the Ranthambore area upon the establishment of the National Park. After picking up some souvenirs continue to the resort to check in and enjoy some free time this afternoon. (B, L, D)

Day 14 and 15: Monday 16 – Tuesday 17 November 2026

Ranthambore National Park 

An early morning start for a game drive in Ranthambore National Park in search of elusive tigers. The park also contains many other animals to spot, including varieties of deer, gazelle, boar, monkeys and various bird species. Return to the resort for breakfast and enjoy the facilities before heading out on another safari late afternoon. (B, L, D)

Day 16: Wednesday 18 November 2026

Ranthambore to Delhi

Late morning, transfer to Delhi Airport for your flights home to Adelaide via Singapore, stopping en-route for lunch at a local restaurant. (B)

Day 17: Thursday 19 November 2026

Arrive in Adelaide late afternoon.
