Itinerary

Day 1: Vancouver

Welcome to Canada! On arrival at Vancouver International Airport, travellers are met and transferred to their hotel. Framed by snow-capped mountains and the sparkling waters of Burrard Inlet, Vancouver is one of North America's most scenic cities and the perfect place to begin this adventure.

This evening, guests meet their Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner.

Day 2: Vancouver

Discover more of Vancouver today, a vibrant city where urban sophistication meets spectacular natural beauty.

Included Excursion: Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour

Enjoy a guided tour featuring Stanley Park and its famous Indigenous totem poles, the waterfront precinct and Granville Island, renowned for its artisan studios, markets and local produce.

Included Excursion: Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Visit the iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, suspended 70 metres above the Capilano River. Explore the surrounding rainforest and experience the award-winning Treetops Adventure high among the ancient trees.

Day 3: Vancouver - Kamloops

Board the world-famous Rocky Mountaineer for the first day of a spectacular two-day rail journey through the Canadian Rockies. Travelling in SilverLeaf Service, enjoy panoramic views through oversized windows as you journey through the fertile Fraser Valley and alongside the winding Thompson River.

Throughout the day savour freshly prepared breakfast and lunch accompanied by premium beverages.

Day 4: Rocky Mountaineer - Banff

Rejoin the Rocky Mountaineer and continue east into the Canadian Rockies. Today's journey showcases dramatic mountain peaks, glaciers, turquoise lakes, dense forests and the Continental Divide.

Enjoy gourmet breakfast and lunch on board before arriving in Banff.

Day 5: Banff

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Banff, surrounded by towering mountain peaks and pristine wilderness.

Day 6: Banff - Lake Louise - Emerald Lake

Travel to the iconic Lake Louise, known for its stunning turquoise waters and spectacular mountain setting. Enjoy free time to stroll the lakeshore before continuing to Emerald Lake, one of the Canadian Rockies' most picturesque destinations.

As you depart Banff, take in the beauty of Bow River and Bow Falls, two of the region's most celebrated natural attractions.

Day 7: Emerald Lake - Jasper

Travel along the legendary Icefields Parkway, considered one of the world's most scenic drives. Pass glaciers, alpine lakes, mountain peaks and dense forests while keeping watch for wildlife including elk, bighorn sheep and bears.

Included Excursion: Columbia Icefield & Ice Explorer

Journey onto the Athabasca Glacier aboard a specially designed Ice Explorer vehicle and experience the immense scale of this ancient icefield.

Day 8: Jasper - Thompson Valley

Depart Jasper and travel into British Columbia's interior, where alpine landscapes give way to rolling grasslands, ranching country and river valleys.

Arrive on the shores of the South Thompson River and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Day 9: Thompson Valley - Whistler

Follow the Thompson and Fraser Rivers through ever-changing landscapes before arriving in Whistler, Canada's premier alpine resort destination.

The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the alpine village at your own pace.

Day 10: Whistler - Victoria

Travel along the spectacular Sea to Sky Highway before boarding a ferry across the Georgia Strait to Vancouver Island and Victoria.

Day 11: Victoria - Butchart Gardens

Day 12: Vancouver - Alaskan Cruise

Transfer to Vancouver and embark on a seven-night Princess Cruises Alaskan voyage. Settle into your Oceanview Stateroom as you begin your journey through the famous Inside Passage.

Your Tour Director remains on hand throughout the cruise to provide assistance and hosted activities.

Day 13: Cruising the Inside Passage

Day 14: Ketchikan
