Day 1 – Helsinki

Welcome to Helsinki! Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Explore this quirky city at your own pace before meeting your tour leader and fellow travellers at 7pm for a welcome dinner.

Day 2 – Helsinki → Santa Claus Express

Hotel: Santa Claus Express Sleeper Train
Meals: Breakfast
Embark on a guided tour of Finland’s elegant capital, visiting highlights such as Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Olympic Stadium, Finlandia Hall, and the stunning Temppeliaukio Church—carved directly into solid granite. In the afternoon, board the Santa Claus Express, an overnight sleeper train to Lapland, the official home of Santa Claus.

Day 3 – Kemi → Rovaniemi

Day 4 – Rovaniemi

Day 5 – Rovaniemi → Sodankylä → Saariselkä

Travel north via Sodankylä to visit the historic old church before a Husky Safari adventure. Learn sledding techniques and enjoy hot berry juice with the musher afterward. Day 6 – Saariselkä → Inari → Karasjok

Day 12 – Sortland → Lofoten Islands → Svolvær
