Day 1 → Sapporo
Arrive in Japan and make your own way to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to rest and explore before touring begins.

Day 2 → Sapporo → Otaru → Sapporo
Travel to the port town of Otaru with your local guide. Visit the famous canal, Sakaimachi Street and Tanaka Sake Brewery before returning to Sapporo for a free evening.

Day 3 → Sapporo → Hakodate
Board the train to Hakodate, travelling through scenic countryside. The afternoon is free—consider a cable car ride up Mount Hakodate for panoramic night views.

Enjoy a guided walking tour including the Morning Market, Red Brick Warehouses, Motomachi District and Goryokaku Fort. Afternoon at leisure.

Travel by bullet train to Sendai. On arrival, the remainder of the day is free to explore at your own pace.

Visit Zuiganji Temple and cruise through Matsushima Bay, one of Japan’s most scenic coastal landscapes. Return to Sendai mid-afternoon.

Travel by train to Tokyo. From today onward, your tour is fully escorted by a dedicated tour leader.

Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Tokyo, visiting Meiji Shrine, Tokyo Skytree, Asakusa and Sensō-ji Temple, Nakamise Street and the Imperial Palace precinct.

Travel to Hakone for a scenic cruise on Lake Ashi before continuing to Lake Kawaguchiko. This evening enjoy dinner at your onsen hotel.

Day 11 → Kawaguchiko → Mount Fuji → Takayama
Visit Mount Fuji’s 5th Station (weather permitting) before continuing to Takayama via scenic mountain roads.

Enjoy a full free day to explore Takayama’s charming old town, markets and cafés.

Explore Takayama’s historic old town before visiting UNESCO-listed Shirakawago Village. Continue to Kanazawa and stroll the Higashi Chaya District.
