Four iconic Arctic regions 

After a flight from Reykjavík, your voyage of discovery begins in Nuuk. On this all-encompassing expedition cruise, you’ll discover the wonders of four Arctic regions; the jagged east coast of Baffin Island, the azure shores of Devon Island, the spine-tingling fjords of Northwest Greenland, and the awe-inspiring Disko Bay in West Greenland.   

Life in the Far North

You’ll sail through biologically rich sea ice environments and visit remote coastal communities.  Learn about Inuit culture through firsthand experiences and search for wildlife like bowhead whales, narwals, seabirds and elusive polar bears. On board your fully equipped vessel, you can recharge between adventures and delve into the science of the region with your Expedition Team.

Day 1 - Cosmopolitan Copenhagen

Start your adventure in Denmark's capital

Your journey begins with an overnight stay in Copenhagen. Explore this stylish city of canals, cafés and striking architecture. Stroll through colourful Nyhavn, enjoy a Danish pastry, and visit the iconic Little Mermaid statue along the waterfront.

Day 2 - Embarkation Day in Nuuk

Welcome to Greenland's capital

Fly from Copenhagen to Nuuk, Greenland's colourful capital. Explore the historic waterfront, Nuuk Cathedral and the Mother of the Sea statue before boarding your expedition ship. After settling into your cabin and receiving your complimentary expedition jacket, enjoy your first dinner on board.

Day 3 - At Sea

Crossing the Arctic Circle

As you sail north, attend mandatory Arctic briefings and enjoy expert-led lectures on wildlife, culture and exploration. Learn about the ship's Citizen Science projects and celebrate crossing the Arctic Circle into the land of the Midnight Sun.

Days 4-6 - East Coast Baffin Island (Qikiqtaaluk)

Exploring Arctic Canada

Ice and weather conditions will shape your route as you explore the remote coastline of Baffin Island. Possible destinations include Isabella Bay, Sam Ford Fjord, Gibbs Fjord and Coutts Inlet, known for dramatic scenery, whales, narwhals, glaciers and abundant birdlife.

Day 7 - At Sea

Sailing towards the Northwest Passage

Enjoy a relaxing day on board as you continue north. Attend lectures, unwind in the hot tubs, or spend time in the Expedition Lounge while preparing for the adventures ahead.

Days 8-11 - Lancaster Sound & Devon Island

Gateway to the Northwest Passage

Explore one of the Canadian Arctic's most spectacular regions. Potential landing sites include Dundas Harbour, Beechey Island, Croker Bay and Coburg Island, where you'll discover Arctic history, glaciers, seabird colonies and exceptional wildlife.

Day 12 - Expedition Day

Adventure in the Far North

Today's activities depend on weather and ice conditions. Join landings, kayaking opportunities and wildlife spotting as you explore the northern reaches of Baffin Bay.

Days 13-14 - The Thule Region

Life at the edge of the world

Discover one of Greenland's most remote regions, rich in Inuit history, wildlife and polar exploration heritage. Expect spectacular landscapes, traditional hunting communities and opportunities to spot walruses, narwhals, belugas, orcas and possibly polar bears.

Day 15 - Melville Bay

A day at sea

Cross the vast waters of Melville Bay while enjoying wildlife watches, informative lectures and panoramic Arctic scenery from the deck.

Days 16-18 - West Greenland

Icebergs, fjords and remote communities

Explore the stunning landscapes of West Greenland and Disko Bay. Possible highlights include Uummannaq Fjord, Vaigat Sound and the UNESCO-listed Ilulissat Ice fjord, renowned for towering icebergs, glaciers and abundant marine wildlife.

Day 19 - Sisimiut

A modern Arctic settlement

Visit Sisimiut, Greenland's second-largest town. Discover its fascinating history, local museum and unique handicrafts, including garments made from ultra-warm qiviut wool.

Days 20-21 - Nuuk & Return to Copenhagen

Farewell Greenland

Your expedition concludes back in Nuuk. Enjoy a hosted day experience with guided sightseeing, lunch and dinner before your evening flight to Copenhagen, arriving the following morning.
