Itinerary
Day 1: Paris Arrive in Paris and meet your Tour Manager and fellow travellers over a welcome drink before dinner.
Day 2: Paris → Compiègne → Pierrefonds → Reims Visit the magnificent Château de Compiègne and the fairy-tale castle at Pierrefonds before a guided tour of Reims and its famous cathedral.
Day 3: Reims → Épernay → Reims Drive through Champagne country to Épernay, tour a renowned Champagne house with tasting, then enjoy free time in Reims.
Day 4: Reims → Verdun → Strasbourg Explore the Verdun battlefields, Douaumont Ossuary and Underground Citadel before continuing to Strasbourg.
Day 5: Strasbourg Enjoy a guided walking tour, visit the Gothic Cathedral, cruise the canals and spend the afternoon at leisure.
Day 6: Strasbourg → Kintzheim → Colmar Visit Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, enjoy a spectacular falconry display at Kintzheim Castle, then continue to Colmar.
Day 7: Colmar → Ribeauvillé → Riquewihr → Colmar Discover two of Alsace's prettiest villages before enjoying a wine tasting in Zellenberg.
Day 8: Colmar → Ungersheim → Éguisheim → Colmar Visit France's largest open-air museum, then explore the beautiful village of Éguisheim before free time in Colmar.
Day 9: Colmar → Mulhouse → Belfort → Beaune Tour the world-famous Cité de l'Automobile, see the Lion of Belfort and continue to Beaune.
Day 10: Beaune → Dijon → Beaune Visit the Hospices de Beaune, explore Dijon, enjoy a Burgundy wine tasting and dinner in the vineyards.
Day 11: Beaune → Jura Mountains → Pérouges → Lyon Travel on the scenic Swallow Railway through the Jura Mountains, visit medieval Pérouges and continue to Lyon.
Day 12: Lyon → Avignon Enjoy free time in Lyon before following the Rhône Valley to Avignon.
Day 13: Avignon → Châteauneuf-du-Pape → Avignon Take a guided tour of Avignon, visit the Papal Palace and enjoy a wine tasting and dinner in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Day 14: Avignon → Les Baux → Pont du Gard → Avignon Experience the immersive Carrières de Lumières, visit Les Baux-de-Provence and walk across the Pont du Gard.
Day 15: Avignon → Gordes → Verdon Gorge Visit the hilltop village of Gordes before a spectacular drive through the Verdon Gorge.
Day 16: Verdon Gorge → Moustiers-Sainte-Marie → Verdon Gorge Visit Pont du Galetas, enjoy time in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, with the option to kayak in the Verdon Gorge.
Day 17: Verdon Gorge → Gourdon → Nice Take in spectacular views at Point Sublime and Gourdon before arriving in Nice.
Day 18: Nice → Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat → Monaco → Nice Visit Villa Ephrussi, explore Monaco and Monte Carlo, then return to Nice for free time.
Day 19: Nice → Saint-Paul-de-Vence → Cannes → Nice Discover Saint-Paul-de-Vence, visit glamorous Cannes and enjoy a farewell dinner.
