Day 2 | Pyramids of Giza
Set off this morning on a guided tour of the iconic Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. Explore the ancient necropolis of Saqqara, home to Zhoser’s Step Pyramid, and visit a government-supervised Papyrus Museum. Overnight: Cairo Meals: Breakfast
Day 3 | The Grand Egyptian Museum
Cairo → Aswan Enjoy a guided tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum, an extraordinary complex housing more than 100,000 artefacts. Explore vast galleries filled with statues, sarcophagi and beautifully restored antiquities, including highlights from Tutankhamun’s collection such as his golden funerary mask, chariot, jewellery and ceremonial treasures. Later, return to the hotel before boarding the overnight sleeper train to Aswan. An optional flight from Cairo to Aswan is also available. Overnight: Sleeper Train Meals: Breakfast
Day 4 | Aswan & Philae Temple
Arrive in Aswan mid-morning and take a short boat trip to Agilika Island to visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Return to Aswan for a visit to a perfume oil emporium before checking in aboard your Nile Cruiser for the next three nights. Day 5 | Nile Cruise & Kom Ombo
Aswan → Kom Ombo Early risers can take an optional excursion to the magnificent Abu Simbel, home to the colossal rock-cut temples of Ramses II. This afternoon, cruise along the Nile towards Kom Ombo and visit its unique temple dedicated to the crocodile-headed god Sobek. Overnight: Nile Cruiser Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6 | Nile Cruising
Nile Cruise → Luxor Relax on the top deck or enjoy a swim as you cruise the Nile towards Luxor. Arrive this afternoon, with the remainder of the day free to explore this historic city before spending your final night aboard the cruiser. Day 7 | Luxor
Disembark this morning and check into your 5-star Luxor hotel. The day is free to relax or explore at leisure. Tonight, an optional visit to the Temple of Luxor is available. Overnight: Luxor Meals: Breakfast
Day 8 | Valley of the Kings
Explore Luxor’s West Bank and the legendary Valley of the Kings. See the Colossi of Memnon, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and discover the surrounding tombs. After lunch, visit the spectacular Temple of Karnak, with its immense columns and monumental ancient architecture. The evening is at leisure. Overnight: Luxor Meals: Breakfast
Day 9 | Red Sea Riviera
Luxor → Hurghada Depart Luxor and travel east to Hurghada on the beautiful Red Sea Riviera. Settle in for three relaxing days by the beach. Overnight: Hurghada Meals: Breakfast
Days 10–11 | Sun, Sea & Sand
Enjoy two days at leisure in Hurghada. Relax by the beach or explore the Red Sea’s renowned reefs and aquatic activities. An optional day trip to Giftun Island for swimming and snorkelling can be booked locally. Overnight: Hurghada Meals: Breakfast x2
Day 12 | Cairo – Your Way
Hurghada → Cairo Travel back to Cairo this morning. The remainder of the day is free to relax or explore Egypt’s capital at leisure. An optional visit to Khan el Khalili bazaar is available for some last-minute souvenir shopping. Overnight: Cairo Meals: Breakfast
Day 13 | Cairo
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Meals: Breakfast
