Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo Welcome to Egypt! On arrival in Cairo, transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free to relax, or early arrivals may join the optional Backstreets of Cairo tour. Optional pre- or post-tour day trip to Alexandria also available. Overnight: Cairo
Day 2: Pyramids of Giza & Saqqara Enjoy a guided tour of the iconic Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx, followed by exploration of the ancient necropolis of Saqqara, including Zhoser’s Step Pyramid. Visit a government-supervised Papyrus Museum. Overnight: Cairo Meals: Breakfast
Day 3: Grand Egyptian Museum & Sleeper Train to Aswan Visit the extraordinary Grand Egyptian Museum, home to over 100,000 artefacts including treasures from Tutankhamun’s collection. Later, transfer to board the overnight sleeper train to Aswan (optional flight upgrade available). Overnight: Sleeper Train Meals: Breakfast
Day 4: Aswan & Philae Temple Arrive in Aswan and visit Philae Temple on Agilika Island, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Visit a perfume oil emporium before boarding your Nile Cruiser for the next three nights. Free time to explore local markets. Overnight: Aswan – Nile Cruiser Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5: Nile Cruise & Kom Ombo (Optional Abu Simbel) Optional early excursion to Abu Simbel. Later, cruise along the Nile to Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek the crocodile-headed god. Overnight: Nile Cruiser Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6: Nile Cruising to Luxor Cruise north toward Luxor, relaxing onboard or enjoying the sun deck pool. Arrive in the afternoon with free time to explore this ancient city. Overnight: Luxor – Nile Cruiser Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 9: Red Sea Riviera – Hurghada Travel east to Hurghada on the Red Sea Riviera for a relaxing beach stay. Overnight: Hurghada Meals: Breakfast
