Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrive Perth – Welcome to Western Australia Accommodation: DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront Meals: Dinner Upon arrival in Perth, meet your Tour Director at your centrally located CBD hotel. This afternoon, enjoy an introductory city tour, including a visit to Kings Park with time to stroll through the Botanical Gardens. This evening, gather for a special welcome dinner at Reel Restaurant overlooking the Swan River.
Day 2 | Perth – Margaret River Accommodation: Margarets in Town Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Depart Perth and travel south to the renowned Margaret River region, celebrated for its premium wines, dramatic coastline, ancient caves and towering forests. En route, enjoy a short stop before arriving at Leeuwin Estate for lunch, where wine, cuisine, art and music come together. Later, visit the majestic Boranup Karri Forest, home to trees over 60 metres tall. This evening, enjoy dinner at the Margaret River Brewhouse.
Day 3 | Margaret River Accommodation: Margarets in Town Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Spend the morning exploring Margaret River township before visiting Gabriel Chocolate, Western Australia’s first bean-to-bar chocolate maker, for tastings and insights into the chocolate-making process. Continue to Mammoth Cave for a self-guided exploration of ancient fossils, including a 50,000-year-old zygomaturus jawbone. Later, visit Yallingup to enjoy coastal views and a beach walk. Dinner tonight is at a local restaurant.
Day 4 | Margaret River – Busselton – Fremantle – Rottnest Island Accommodation: The Lodge Wadjemup Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Travel to Busselton to walk along its iconic 1.7-kilometre jetty. Continue north through Bunbury and Mandurah, stopping for a classic fish and chips lunch by the beach. Arrive in Fremantle and board the Rottnest Express ferry to Wadjemup (Rottnest Island). Begin exploring the island’s rich history, wildlife and scenic beauty during your two-night stay.
Day 5 | Rottnest Island Accommodation: The Lodge Wadjemup Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Enjoy a relaxed morning before a guided bus tour showcasing Rottnest Island’s highlights, with opportunities to spot its famous quokkas. After a picnic lunch, the afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the island’s beaches and walking trails. This evening, dine with fellow travellers at the lodge, reflecting on your journey.
Day 6 | Rottnest Island – Fremantle – Depart Perth Meals: Breakfast After breakfast, board the Rottnest Express ferry back to Fremantle. Rejoin the coach for a transfer to Perth Airport, where your journey through Perth, Margaret River and Rottnest Island comes to an end.
