Day 1 – Vancouver Arrive in Vancouver and check in to your hotel. Your Tour Director is available in the afternoon to answer any questions, leaving the evening free to explore this vibrant city set between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountains.
Day 2 – Vancouver Enjoy a guided city tour this morning featuring Stanley Park, the harbour and the city’s beaches. The afternoon is yours to visit Granville Island’s Public Market or wander the cobblestone streets of historic Gastown.
Day 3 – Vancouver – Kelowna Travel through fertile valleys and mountain forests to Okanagan Lake and the lakeside resort city of Kelowna, surrounded by orchards and vineyards.
Day 4 – Kelowna – Banff National Park Journey north through the Okanagan Valley and climb Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park for a photo stop, then continue through Yoho National Park and over Kicking Horse Pass to Banff for a two-night stay.
Day 5 – Banff National Park Following an orientation tour, enjoy a free day in Canada’s first national park. Hike, shop in town, relax in the hot springs or take an optional helicopter flight over the Rockies.
Day 6 – Banff – Lake Louise – Columbia Icefield – Jasper Admire the turquoise waters of Lake Louise before travelling the spectacular Icefields Parkway. At the Columbia Icefield, ride the Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier, then continue to Jasper National Park for two nights.
Day 7 – Jasper National Park A free day to explore Jasper and look out for local wildlife. Perhaps join an optional cruise on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island or a scenic float trip down the Athabasca River.
Day 8 – Jasper – Mount Robson – Sun Peaks Follow the Fraser River to the base of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, then travel the Yellowhead Highway to the mountain resort village of Sun Peaks.
Day 9 – Sun Peaks – Lillooet – Whistler Head south along the historic Cariboo Wagon Trail via Lillooet and the shores of Seton and Duffey Lakes, arriving in Whistler for a two-night stay.
Day 10 – Whistler A day at leisure in Whistler, host of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Explore the village or choose an optional ziptrek, canopy walk or PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola ride.
Day 11 – Whistler – Ferry Crossing – Victoria Cruise across the Strait of Georgia to Victoria on Vancouver Island. Afternoon sightseeing includes the world-famous Butchart Gardens and a tour of British Columbia’s charming capital.
Day 12 – Victoria Enjoy exploring Victoria at your own pace today with time as your own. Visit the Royal BC Museum, enjoy high tea at the Fairmont Empress or join an optional whale-watching excursion.
Day 13 – Victoria – Ferry Crossing – Vancouver Take a scenic ferry through the Gulf Islands back to Vancouver, where your tour concludes. Check in to your Vancouver hotel for one night before your cruise.
Day 14 – Vancouver – Embark Serenade of the Seas® Make your way to the port and board Serenade of the Seas®, departing at 4:00pm. Settle into your stateroom and enjoy your first evening onboard as you sail out of Vancouver Harbour.
Day 15 – Cruising the Inside Passage Cruise the waterways of the Inside Passage, watching for whales, eagles and forested islands from the deck, or relax and enjoy the ship’s pools, dining and entertainment.
Day 16 – Sitka, Alaska Explore Sitka and visit St. Michael’s Cathedral and the totem poles of Sitka National Historical Park, or join a wildlife cruise in search of sea otters and whales.
Day 17 – Tracy Arm Fjord (6:30 AM – 10:30 AM) & Juneau, Alaska Wake to scenic cruising through Tracy Arm Fjord, with sheer granite walls, waterfalls and floating icebergs. In the afternoon, arrive in Alaska’s capital, Juneau, where you can visit the Mendenhall Glacier, ride the Mount Roberts Tramway or go whale watching.
Day 18 – Icy Strait Point, Alaska Discover this Tlingit-owned destination surrounded by wilderness. Try the ZipRider, one of the world’s longest ziplines, or join an excursion to spot humpback whales and brown bears.
Day 19 – Ketchikan, Alaska Known as the Salmon Capital of the World, Ketchikan offers colourful Creek Street, an impressive collection of totem poles and optional floatplane flights over Misty Fjords National Monument.
Day 20 – Cruising the Inside Passage A final day of scenic cruising back through the Inside Passage. Enjoy the ship’s facilities and a farewell evening onboard.
Day 21 – Vancouver – Disembark Arrive back in Vancouver at 7:00 AM and disembark, concluding your Canadian Rockies and Alaska journey.
