Day 1 – Broome
Arrive in Broome and be transferred to your expedition ship. Settle into your suite and take time to explore the ship's facilities before meeting fellow travellers over dinner as your Kimberley adventure begins.

Day 2 – Lacepede Islands & Buccaneer Archipelago
Cruise to the Lacepede Islands, an important breeding ground for green turtles and a remarkable variety of seabirds, including one of the world's largest colonies of brown boobies. Join a guided Zodiac excursion to observe the abundant wildlife before continuing to the spectacular Buccaneer Archipelago, home to hundreds of rugged islands scattered across turquoise waters.

Day 3 – Horizontal Falls
Explore Talbot Bay and its dramatic sandstone formations by Zodiac. Subject to tidal conditions, venture close to the famous Horizontal Falls, where powerful tidal movements create one of the Kimberley's most remarkable natural phenomena. Witness the incredible force of nature as water surges through narrow coastal gaps.

Day 4 – Freshwater Cove & Montgomery Reef
Visit Freshwater Cove and enjoy a Welcome to Country and cultural experience with the Traditional Custodians of the region. Discover ancient rock art sites and gain insight into the area's rich Aboriginal heritage.
Later, explore Montgomery Reef by Zodiac. As the tide recedes, the reef dramatically rises from the sea, revealing cascading waterfalls, winding channels and an abundance of marine life.

Day 5 – Hunter River & Prince Frederick Harbour
Explore the pristine waterways of Hunter River and Porosus Creek within Prince Frederick Harbour. Cruise through mangrove-lined channels and keep watch for saltwater crocodiles, mudskippers, kingfishers, egrets, herons and white-bellied sea eagles.
For an additional cost, a scenic helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls is available.

Day 6 – Ashmore Reef
Spend time exploring Ashmore Reef Marine Park, a remote sanctuary renowned for its vibrant coral formations, diverse marine life and nesting seabirds. Conditions permitting, discover this remarkable ecosystem during Zodiac excursions through the reef's crystal-clear waters.

Day 7 – Vansittart Bay
Discover the fascinating history and cultural heritage of Vansittart Bay. Walk across the salt flats to see the remains of a World War II aircraft before visiting Jar Island, home to an outstanding collection of ancient Gwion Gwion (Bradshaw) rock art believed to date back thousands of years.

Day 8 – King George River & King George Falls
Cruise through Koolama Bay and into the spectacular King George River system. Board a Zodiac and journey between towering sandstone cliffs and secluded coves before reaching King George Falls, one of the Kimberley's most impressive natural landmarks. Experience the sight and sound of water plunging approximately 80 metres from the escarpment above.

Day 9 – At Sea
Enjoy a relaxing day at sea as you cruise towards Darwin. Take advantage of the ship's amenities, unwind on deck, enjoy the dining experiences on board or attend informative presentations about the Kimberley region and its unique environment.

Day 10 – Darwin
Disembark in Darwin this morning and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
