Arriving in Tokyo, your holiday begins with a two-night hotel stay. As the world’s largest metropolitan area, Tokyo is a dynamic city where endless shopping, dining, and cultural experiences exist alongside breathtaking temples, shrines, and tranquil gardens.

Day 3 | Tokyo: Tour & Hotel Stay

Enjoy a tour of Mount Fuji, the near-perfectly symmetrical volcano that rises above Tokyo. After learning of its history, you’ll marvel at Lake Kawaguchi and stop at Oishi Park promising the perfect viewing opportunity on a clear day.

Day 5 | Tokyo

Day 6 | Nagoya

Day 9 | Kōchi

Prepare to discover Kōchi’s well-earned exuberant spirit. You could journey through time at Kōchi Castle, before immersing yourself in the culinary scene. Be sure to savour the city’s signature dish: katsuo no tataki (seared bonito).

Day 10 | Hiroshima

Despite being devastated in World War II, Hiroshima is known for its commitment to peace. Its ruin in August 1945 led to the war’s end and today, the UNESCO-listed Peace Memorial is a reminder of the destruction war brings.

Day 11 | Beppu

Beppu, situated on the island of Kyushu, is a renowned hot spring town. It’s famous for therapeutic, unique geothermal experiences, including the dramatic “Hells of Beppu”, with distinct features like the bright blue Umi Jigoku and bubbling Chinoike Jigoku.

Day 12 | Kagoshima

The “Naples of the East”, Kagoshima boasts a subtropical climate and palm-lined streets. Explore historic sites like Senganen Garden, enjoy volcanic sand baths in Ibusuki, and take ferries to nearby Yakushima Island, famed for its ancient cedar forests.

Day 13 | Nagasaki
