Day 1 | Cape Town, South Africa

Welcome to Cape Town, one of the world’s most beautifully situated cities, framed by Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Your journey begins with a stay near the lively Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, a fitting base for exploring a city shaped by ocean, mountains and layered history.

Day 2 | Cape Town

Cape Town’s dramatic setting is never more apparent than along the Cape Peninsula, where mountains, ocean and rugged coastline come together in spectacular fashion. Today, follow the Atlantic coast to Cape Point within Table Mountain National Park, an area known for panoramic sea views, rich biodiversity and its remarkable position on this wild southern peninsula.

Visit Cape Point and the historic Cape of Good Hope, a legendary maritime landmark long associated with the great sea routes around southern Africa. Later, continue to Boulders Beach, part of the Table Mountain National Park Marine Protected Area, where a sheltered boardwalk brings you close to a celebrated colony of African penguins.

Day 3 | Cape Town

Cape Town rewards every change in perspective, from its lively waterfronts and colourful neighbourhoods to the commanding heights of Table Mountain above. Today, take in the city from one of its most iconic vantage points, then choose from a selection of DiscoverMORE experiences that reveal another side of this captivating destination.

Day 4 | Cape Town > Stellenbosch

Leaving Cape Town behind, journey into the Cape Winelands, where vineyard-covered valleys, historic estates and mountain backdrops define one of South Africa’s most celebrated food and wine regions. Today is dedicated to the flavours of Stellenbosch, with tastings that showcase both the region’s winemaking heritage and artisanal produce.

Visit a renowned tasting room designed around four barrel-shaped pods, where six different wines are presented in a relaxed and sociable setting. Enjoy a pairing of six Fairview cow and goat cheeses before a cellar tour and tasting of five Jonkershoek Range wines matched with artisanal chocolates.

Day 5 | Stellenbosch > Kruger National Park

This morning, fly to Skukuza, gateway to Kruger National Park, and transfer to your lodge on the Sabie River. The Skukuza region lies in southern Kruger, a wildlife-rich area where river systems attract an abundance of animals and provide exceptional game-viewing opportunities.

Day 6 | Kruger National Park

Day 7 | Kruger National Park

Another day in Kruger brings another chance to encounter the wildlife that makes this reserve so revered. Travelling in specially adapted Land Rovers, continue exploring the park with expert rangers who help track animals and interpret their behaviour.

Set out on unrestricted game drives in search of the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalo. Learn more about their habitats, behaviour and ongoing conservation efforts.

Day 8 | Kruger National Park > Johannesburg

Fly to Johannesburg and check into your hotel for a two-night stay. Known as the "City of Gold", Johannesburg is South Africa’s largest city and a vibrant hub of art, culture and history. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing or enjoying the facilities of your hotel.

Day 9 | Johannesburg

Johannesburg, often referred to as Jo'burg, pulses with energy and reflects the rapid transformation from a gold-mining settlement to a modern metropolis. The city offers a compelling mix of history, culture and contemporary life.

Explore Soweto, visit Nelson Mandela’s former home and walk the streets he once knew. Continue to the Apartheid Museum, which chronicles the rise and fall of apartheid and explores the history of 20th-century South Africa.

Day 10 | Johannesburg > Kasane

Fly to Kasane to experience Botswana’s renowned Chobe National Park, one of southern Africa’s most rewarding wildlife destinations. Chobe is particularly famous for its vast elephant population and the concentration of wildlife along its riverbanks and floodplains.

This afternoon, enjoy a night drive through the park. As daylight fades, discover a completely different side of the bush and search for elusive nocturnal species.

Day 11 | Chobe National Park

Day 12 | Kasane > Victoria Falls

Cross into Zimbabwe and arrive at Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Stretching more than 1.7 kilometres across, the falls are renowned for their immense curtain of water and thundering power.

Day 13 | Victoria Falls
