Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Zürich

Arrive in Zürich before 1.30pm and transfer to the hotel. This afternoon, enjoy an orientation discovery before joining a welcome reception.

Day 2: Zürich, Lucerne, Engelberg

Travel to Lucerne and enjoy a walking exploration of the city. Continue to Engelberg, nestled at the foot of Mount Titlis. A dedicated baggage transfer service operates throughout the Swiss rail journey, ensuring luggage is transferred between hotels.

Day 3: Engelberg, Mount Titlis

Board a cable car and ascend Mount Titlis, reaching 3,020 metres above sea level. Explore the glacier cave beneath the glacier's surface and walk across Europe's highest suspension bridge. Later, enjoy free time to relax or explore the alpine village of Engelberg.

Day 4: Engelberg, Lugano

Travel aboard the scenic Gotthard Panorama Express through the Gotthard Base Tunnel to Lugano.

Signature Experience – Tenuta Castello di Morcote Wine Tour

Visit the spectacular Tenuta Castello di Morcote estate, surrounded by Lake Lugano. Explore the terraced vineyards, olive groves and historic Morcote Castle before enjoying a wine tasting.

Day 5: Lugano

Cruise across Lake Lugano before ascending Monte Brè for panoramic views over the region. The evening is free to explore Lugano at leisure.

Cross into Italy and board the Bernina Express in Tirano. Take in spectacular Alpine scenery as the journey continues to St. Moritz.

Day 7: St. Moritz, Zermatt

Board the iconic Glacier Express and travel through the Swiss Alps from the Bernina Range to the Matterhorn. Cross more than 200 bridges and numerous tunnels before arriving in Zermatt.

Ride the Gornergrat Railway for outstanding views of the Matterhorn.

Day 9: Zermatt, Spiez, Wengen

Travel by rail to Spiez before cruising across beautiful Lake Thun to Interlaken. Continue by train to the charming resort village of Wengen.

Day 10: Wengen, Jungfraujoch

Journey to Jungfraujoch, Europe's highest railway station at 3,454 metres above sea level. Marvel at sweeping mountain vistas and spectacular glacier scenery.

Day 11: Wengen, Montreux

Travel to Interlaken and board the panoramic GoldenPass Express. Follow the Aare River, pass through the Simmen Valley and traverse the Bernese Oberland before arriving in Montreux.

Day 12: Montreux, Geneva

Enjoy an orientation tour of Montreux before travelling to Geneva. Cruise the shores of Lake Geneva and admire views of Mont Blanc, the United Nations Office at Geneva, elegant villas and lakeside gardens.

This evening, join a farewell dinner.

Day 13: Geneva, Amsterdam, Embark Ship

Transfer to the airport for an included flight to Amsterdam. Upon arrival, board a next-generation APT river ship and settle in for the start of a remarkable European river cruise.
